Why use the infrared technology found in regional monasteries?
My first series began with demands in Australia, which prompted me to take photography and videography a little more seriously. It evolved into a different project and themes.
Most of my projects start with a basic idea that comes into my head and eventually grows into a stronger concept to produce a body of work.
Infrared technology finds these cultural objects, allowing you to photograph and observe the antique, engaging, or different things found at regional monasteries.
All of these artifacts have tales and are part of our past, spanning generations.
As a photographer, I believe it is critical to document time and place while also leaving a visual legacy for future generations.
